MSHS Style Guide and Branding 2026

Help Shape the Future Look of Mareeba State High School

At Mareeba State High School, we have been working on a style guide that will help create a consistent look and feel across all of our communications. This includes things such as our logo, colours, fonts, document templates, writing style, and other branding elements used across the school.

As part of this work, we have reviewed our current branding and developed five possible options for consideration.

We would love to hear your thoughts on which option you prefer. A short survey will open at 5:00pm on Friday 18 September 2026 and close at 5:00pm on Sunday 18 October 2026.

To take part, please use the survey link below. You can also learn more about the proposed options by visiting the information page on our website.

Further Information: View the Branding Presentation

During the first two weeks of Term 4, we will continue discussions with students and gather additional feedback. Once the survey closes, we will review the results and undertake further work to refine the preferred option before making a final decision. Our aim is to implement any changes from 2027.

A few important things to note:

  • The final decision will be guided by community feedback and the option that receives the strongest support.
  • Only one survey response can be submitted per device.
  • If a new branding option is adopted, any changes will be introduced gradually. For example, there will be no immediate requirement for students to replace uniforms in 2027. A phased approach will be used to ensure families are not disadvantaged, with implementation likely to occur over a period of 2 to 4 years.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We look forward to hearing your thoughts.
